Refunds

Refund policy

Every PalmSays purchase is made in the Android app through Google Play, so Google Play's refund policy applies. Here is how to ask for a refund, how to cancel a plan, and when we step in to help.

PalmSays is operated by Deepak Chauhan, Nokha, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. Effective 4 October 2026.

  • Reading packs and plans are sold and billed by Google Play, inside the PalmSays Android app. This website sells nothing.
  • Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. You ask for one from your Google Play order history.
  • Charged but your readings didn't arrive? Email us and we will help put it right.

Where you pay

The PalmSays Android app sells one-time reading packs and monthly or yearly plans. Each purchase is sold and billed by Google Play, under Google Play's terms, in your Google Play account. We never see your card or UPI details. Prices in India include GST, and Google Play shows the final price, with any local tax, in your currency before you pay. The website is free and has nothing to buy. The plans and packs are described in our terms of use (sections 6 and 7) and on theapp page.

Google Play's refund policy applies

Because Google Play takes the payment, Google Play decides refunds under its own policy. Google's help page explains when you can get a refund directly from Google Play, which is usually soon after the purchase, and when it sends you to the developer (us). Google's own page is the final word, and Google can change it: Get refunds on Google Play purchases.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Open your Google Play order history, signed in with the Google account you paid with. In the Play Store app: tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Budget and history.
  2. Find the Palm Read AI or PalmSays order.
  3. Choose Request a refund (or Report a problem) and follow the steps.
  4. Google Play emails you its decision. If Google sends you to us, or something else went wrong, email us (below) with your order number. It starts with "GPA.", and it is in Google's receipt email.

Cancelling a plan

  • Cancel any time in the Google Play Store app: tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Palm Read AI, then Cancel subscription. Google's steps: Cancel a subscription on Google Play.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the plan until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not refund that period by itself: to ask for a refund, use the steps above.
  • If a plan starts with a free trial, cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
  • Deleting the app or your PalmSays account does not cancel a plan. Cancel it in Google Play.

When we help directly

We can't reverse a Google Play payment ourselves: Google Play takes the payment and handles refunds. Apart from what Google Play refunds, we do not give refunds directly, except where the law requires it. But we will always help when something went wrong:

  • You were charged but your readings didn't arrive, or your plan doesn't show as active: email us with the order number. We check your purchase and add what you paid for.
  • You were charged twice for the same thing: email us with both order numbers and we will help you get the extra charge refunded through Google Play.
  • A reading failed because of a problem on our side: tell us, and we will put it right.

Readings from a pack don't expire, but they belong to the account that bought them: if you delete your account, unused pack readings are lost (terms, section 11).

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy takes away any right you have under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other consumer law that applies to you where you live, including any right to a refund that the law gives you.
